Landscapes and Seascapes - 1/2 day course
Short Course - Introduction into Stained Glass
If you are a beginner interested in a introduction into making stained glass, this half-day course takes you through glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing. There will be a range of pre-drawn templates available to chose from. Panel size 15cm x 25cm.
On completion you will take home a small stained glass panel made using traditional techniques. If you want to display your panel in a window ledge, there is an option to purchase a decorative metal display frame.
Cost: £75 per person
(To purchase the metal display frame - add £30)

Glass Coaster course
Short Course - Fused Glass Coasters
Ideal for beginners - this course is a introduction into glass fusing on a smaller-scale. You will learn how to cut glass and understand the process of glass fusing. A range of colours are available in sheet glass, glass rods and frits to help you create your own design.
On completion you will go home with a range of 4 of your own original glass coasters.

Art in the Garden - 2 day course
This 2 day course is a combination of glass and metal design. With the guidance of an experienced tutor, you will design a metal sculpture (2 metre x 35cm) then make beautiful coloured glass using either leaded stained glass or fused glass techniques. * No previous experience is required as we will work through ideas to create a design*

Bullseye Fused Glass Bowl with Painted Design - 2 day course
This course can be tailored according to your experience and the design you choose - both beginners and experienced learners are welcome. On completion you will take home a glass bowl designed by you!
In this 2 day course you will learn;
Day 1
- Introduction to Bullseye glass
- Create your own design on paper
- Prepare your own glass coloured palette to be fused overnight
- Cut shapes to match your own design
Day 2
- Introduction to glass enamels
- Experiment with painting techniques
- Painting design onto fused palette from day 1
- Forming design into a bowl mould of your choice

This is a more detailed 2 day course you will learn how to design and make an A3 sized (40 x 50cm) stained glass panel in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. No previous artistic experience is required as pre-made designs will be available, however you are more than welcome to create your own design. The course will be delivered by a fully experienced stained glass artist in a simple step-by-step process. This includes:
- Creating a design on paper
- Making a cutline
- Cutting the glass
- Painting surface design
- Leading-up the panel
- Finishing the panel
On completion you will take away your very own beautiful stained glass panel to display in your home!!

In this 1 day course you will learn how to make an A4 (30 x 30cm) sized stained glass panel in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
No previous artistic experience is required as pre-made designs will be available, however you are more than welcome to create your own design. The course will be delivered by a fully experienced stained glass artist in a simple step-by-step process. This includes:
- Creating a design on paper
- Making a cutline
- Cutting the glass
- Leading-up the panel
- Finishing the panel
On completion you will take away your very own beautiful stained glass panel to display in your home!!

Sgraffito mark making/ glass painting - 1 day course
In this 1 day course you will learn the fascinating mark making technique of sgraffito. This involves applying black enamel over coloured bullseye glass and 'scratching out' a design to reveal the colours underneath. This includes:
- Creating a design on paper
- Matting with black glass enamel
- Using various tools and templates to create shapes and textures
On completion you will take home your own bullseye glass sailing boat with a cast jesomite base and series of your own glass design experiments leaded into a piece.

Mould Making - 1 day course
In this 1 day course you will learn how to make a plaster and quartz mould for single-use glass casting. This course can be tailored to suit your requirements - please complete the contact form and specify which of the mould making techniques you are most interested in learning.

On completion you will create a mould and have an understanding of how to create a 3D glass form.

Our Covid-19 Protective Measures
We are working to the Welsh Government 'Keep Wales Safe' rules:
- Get both of your jabs
- Get tested and self-isolate if you have symptoms
- Keep your distance when you can
- Wash your hands
To keep everyone safe whilst at the North Wales Creative Glass Studios we are:
- Cleaning using disinfectant in high contact touchpoints such as tables, door handles, chairs and hand tools
- Placing hand sanitisers at entry points and inside the workshop
- Providing soap dispenser, water and paper towels in washroom
- Completing a full clean of workshop between each session
The studio is spacious and well ventilated. PPE (personal protective equipment) will be issued to everyone
who attends a course. All other health and safety measures will be explained in a brief induction on arrival.
Please be aware that the safety is paramount - we would ask that if you do have any symptoms of Covid-19 you do not attend the course.
