Landscapes and Seascapes - Half-Day course
Half-day course - Introduction into Stained Glass
If you are a beginner interested in a introduction into making stained glass, this half-day course takes you through glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing. There will be a range of pre-drawn templates available to chose from. Panel size 150 x 250mm.
On completion you will take home a small stained glass panel made using traditional techniques. If you want to display your panel in a window ledge, there is an option to purchase a decorative metal display frame.
Cost: £80 per person
(To purchase the metal display frame - add £35)

Half-day course - Fused Glass Coasters
Ideal for beginners - this course is a introduction into glass fusing on a smaller-scale. You will learn how to cut glass and understand the process of glass fusing. A range of colours are available in sheet glass, glass rods and frits to help you create your own design.
On completion you will go home with a range of 4 of your own original glass coasters.
Cost: £65 per person

In this 1 day course you will learn how to make a 300 X 300mm stained glass panel in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
No previous artistic experience is required as pre-made designs will be available, however you are more than welcome to create your own design. The course will be delivered by a fully experienced stained glass artist in a simple step-by-step process. This includes:
- Creating a design on paper
- Making a cutline
- Cutting the glass
- Leading-up the panel
- Finishing the panel
On completion you will take away your very own beautiful stained glass panel to display in your home!!

This is a new ‘Art in the Garden’ course at the studio. With the guidance of an experienced tutor, you will design a coloured glass using leaded stained glass (150mm x 600mm) to fit into a pre-made metal garden sculpture.
On completion you will have a complete metal and glass sculpture ready to compliment your garden.

This 2 day course will allow you design a coloured leaded stained glass panel (150mm x 600mm) to fit into a pre-made metal garden sculpture.
Day 1
Morning - select a template (cut line) from a collection of pre-made designs, and then choose your glass from an wide array of colours available. Cut the glass to the template ready for the next stage.
Afternoon 'matt' the glass with black enamel and then using tools and stencils 'etch out' shapes and textures to reveal the colours underneath. At the end of day one your painted glass is moved carefully into the kiln to be fired overnight.
Day 2
As you arrive, your fired pieces of glass will be waiting for you. You then have the excitement of being able to construct these into a piece of artwork! Learn how to construct a panel using the traditional stained glass skills, this will be entirely guided process by a fully experienced stained glass artist.
You will leave the day with a complete metal and glass sculpture ready to compliment your garden.

- Your own bullseye glass sailing boat with a cast jesomite base OR
- Will be sent a series of your sgraffito designs in a leaded panel

This 2 day course is an extension of the 1 day Sgraffito course and gives you the opportunity to combine two skills - the fascinating mark making technique of sgraffito with the construction of a traditional stained glass panel. The final leaded piece measures 350 X 300mm
Day 1
